My first spoon

well its not technically my first spoon, but it is the first that i would show in public.
It is made from apple, was carved just with my mora and sanded by hand.
I didn't get the bowl quite as i wanted but as they say practice will make perfect
Any comments gratefully recieved

Good stuff.
I bought a crook knife today and will be doing my first bit of whittling this weekend. Haven't decided what to do first. Would love to make a kuksa, but I think that will have to wait. Could do a spoon, which is obviously an ideal 'first project', but reckon I'll have a go at a bowl/dish. Looking forward to it as well.

That's a good start. You just have to make loads and not be too precious about them - they'll get better all the time!
