my first gränsfors

finally i got my gränsfors wildlife axe today.
and it such a lovely little axe, or hatchet if you will.
i'm looking forward to using it.

its 35cm long and weighs 655g(without sheath) and its about the same length as a 9" leuku.

good bit of kit and with the right know how will pack a big old punch well above what you would exspect.......

I have had one for a little over 2 years and it is a truly wonderful tool....keep the head oiled and the handle treated and it will last a lifetime!

Word of advice. Before you swing it, look at what you would hit if you missed! ive been kissed by mine. I always follow that rule now. Enjoy
