Now that is has soaked in oil for 24 hours and mostly dried out I though I'd share with you what I have made so far. The knife is a blank from Mark Hill and the scales are Oak I think, but I am not entirely sure as I saved them from the fire box at a local cabinet makers. I'll ask when I am back in on Wednesday night. I'm in awe of the knives Mark is making. Can't wait to finish it and actually get using it! This is my first full tang knife and while I made some little mistakes it turned out better than I expected.
