Loch Ard - maiden voyage

I got the chance today for my first paddle in my new Pack, thanks again Steve.

I've been wild camping around Loch Ard for years so I thought that'd be the best place for my first solo voyage. I've been out in a canoe once before in a group at Loch Lomond but this was my first time solo.

Parked up at the iron cross

It was pretty calm with just a light wind

Pulled in for a brew

Back on the water

I'd a great time and feel a lot more confidant in my paddling now. Roll on Thursday until I get back there with some overnight gear for a few nights.

That'll be my mutts first trip in a boat, should be fun
