i have never done any leather work in my life but i want to start. Where can i get sheets of leather from suitable for making sheaths etc and what thread should i use. If you have any other info and tips that would be great!

Le Prevo is good from the looks of things. I use The Identity Store, imprters of Pearce Tandy leather, a lot.
