I'm a big fan of having little notebooks to jot down ideas, sketches and field notes. Recently i got some thin A6 size moleskin notebooks which fit in my pocket quite well. Unfortuntely they are the paper cover ones which are alse a bit flimsy - so i decided to get creative and make a leather cover with a pen holder for it.
Here is the result
The book is held in place by elastic ribbon so is easily replaced when it gets full, the pen is held snuggly in place and the whole thing is held shut by a thread running around two leather 'buttons'.
Any comments or suggestions welcome, I may make some for the Makers Market if there is a demand.
The sketch in th picture is a self portrait - of my feet - after breakfast one scout camp!
