You could always post the blades to the maker. I had Rapidboy rattle of some sheaths for me and he is a good few thousand miles from where I live.

Bert has had bad experiences with nice knives and couriers and is understandably cautious.

Never heard of courier insurance or standard liability insurance...must have used the cowboys. All the big courier companies offer insurance because they stand by their service and products.
