who sells HT ovens in the UK and what sort of price are they

you could try Tim Gunn on BB, he occasionally builds electric HT furnaces for people. I don't know of any off-the-shelf ones though, I think some people buy Paragon kilns from foreign parts.

I built mine using a 45,000 btu forge burner, a steel drum and some refractory blanket. I had to go gas on account of being off grid for the leccy

You can make a Gas one and get a thermo couple to get an accurate temp. If your planning to use super steels it may not be accurate enough.

I'm looking to use O1 and RWL-34 mainly

Evenheat and Paragon both have distributors in the UK, they make purpose built knife kilns but like most kilns can be pricy. You also need liquid nitrogen or dry ice to temper RWL 34

Yeah might be better to get a kiln then for RWL 34
