Well.........probably just another attempt at money making, by the "Mears Marketeers", though I must admit, the idea of a coordinated series, does appeal to me.
however, if they are of the same, poor quality finish, as the likes of "wild food", "goes walkabout" and "vanishing world", I'll just hang on and pick them up in "The Works" ( where all the remainders and publishing failures end up
) for a couple of quid each, just like I did with
all the aforementioned.
I'm amazed, at what is deemed acceptable for photo reproduction in these books.
What happened to crisp, glossy, plate type photo illustrations?
It's obviously down to cheap production methods being used, in order to maximise profits but I can't help feeling like they are selling us- the consumer, short.
Anyway, it'll be interesting to see how far the series goes and what subjects they do to death
