I've thoroughly enjoyed reading posts on this forum.
I grew up in central London, bushcraft wasn't really much of an option in Regents Park.
However, I still have very happy memories of gathering small but very sweet and tasty chestnuts in Oxleas, Jack and Warren Woods in Eltham, just on the border of Kent. It was a terrific place to find fungi, walk and enjoy the outdoors although
that was in the late sixties and into the early seventies.
My teenage son has recently been awarded his Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award so hopefully he'll continue to enjoy the outdoors in the way that he finds rewarding.
I'm looking forward to using and hopefully contributing to this forum.
