Went around some local woods to see what I could find.

Very surprised to find so many about as there have been a few frosts.

Not been able to id many yet (books are on the xmas list) but thought I could at least share!

Can't help you with ID - I'm a fungi ignoramus - but great spots and, as you sa, so many in a small area. I will be watching this thread closely as I've seen these spcies in my local woods and would like to know what they are.

2) {??} Clitocybe phyllophila
3) Pholiota aurivella
4) probably velvet shanks
5) [??] club foot clitocybe clavipes
6) Alien mother ship
7) wood blewits
8) probably parasol
9) cloud cap
10) [??] mycena pura
11)collybia dryophila russet shank
12) maybe velvet shank.
