foraging in Ukraine/Romania

Hi all,
Does anyone have any information on foraging in the Ukraine/Moldova/Romania?
Google is not my friend in this instance! All I can find is stuff about fungi and I want to steer clear of that as I'm not really confident with identification. Is there a lot of the species you'd find in the rest of Europe/UK?

I think the nature is the same as in the rest of Europe, kind of Austrian/Czech/Slovakian way. Same climate.

Edit: you might want to check with their Embassies if it is legal for you to collect edible stuff in nature iver there. Or even step into the forests!

Might be an idea to check with the Brit Embassy (maybe even U/M/R BCUK members) re where it is safe to venture as well.

Cool, cheers guys, all of the permissions etc are sorted, just wanted a bit of a heads up on what to expect. I plan on seeking a lot of local knowledge!
