The illunminated colour is more pink than the picture shows. :)

It is electroluminescent wire. All sorts of things can be done with it. Probably everything you could want to know about it is here:

Surelight seem to be reducing the range of bits for you to do your own thing with, so I ended up buying from here:

It is also made as a sheet material. Chances are that at some point you've looked at a backlit screen powered with this stuff.

I've got some of the Surefire stuff, Tesco's were selling it in sets as bike light a year of two back. I have red and blue wire great for Halloween ect'

Now this would be handy to fit on your tent when you want to find it in the dark ... :lmao:

Steve one of the sets I modified to use as red warning lights (on a very slow flash) twisted round our family tents corner guy ropes works great to stop folks walking into them:)
