look like ceps, or maybe young brown birch boletus.

If there are grey/black flecks up the stem then they are most likely brown birch. Also if you cut them, if after a few minutes they go pinkish then thats another sign they are brown birch.

Ceps tend to be a slightly redder brown on the cap but they certainly look more like ceps.

Definately edible though....just depends whether they taste OK or amazing.
