[Diligence]

Thought I'd post a few photos of a backpacking trip I did with some friends on Sept 5-08.

Sunny, sleety, rainy, windy, snowy, windy, rainy, sleety and ended the trip sunny.

The photo of the dirt (yellow jacket) is a grizzly bear diggings site...about 200 yards from our tent....thought you all might appreciate that.

Nice pictures! What do you imagine that the Grizzly was digging for? Grubs?

Thanks for sharing Diligence - brought back some good memories for me seeing those shots.

The grizzly was likely digging for a marmot or other small creature. He (or she) tore up about 5 spots like this. Some of the diggings went as deep as 3 feet...so I would expect that rodent was on the menu.
