If rawl bolts are likely to pull out have you considered chemical fixings?

The fixings are easy to get to hold, it's the brickwork that's the problem. Masonry isn't strong under tension, only compression. Brick walls can easily start bowing under lateral forces. In my time in the building trade I've seen plenty of mortar mixed up with washing up liquid, inadequate wall ties, earthquake damage (yes, in the UK). More than once, hungover brickies puking in the cement mixer.

It's just not worth the risk IMO generally.

Talking with Teepee, i just cant see how its going to be possible, bit gutted about it, but its just not doable,
BUT have almost got my garden sorted, concrete will be ok by the weekend, so thats some relife.
I hope this thread has help others,
