thank you easy jet for a ruined xmas
basicly we had are flights cancelled friday morning leaving us stock in london
gatwick with no option of getting to our destination
or home before yesturday we will get a refund from them soposedly but i had to pay an extra 280 quid to get back home and now i am down almost 800 quid for the flights to and from gatwick

Will travel insurance cover the losses?
Don't accept the 1st offer - be a proper pain and you'll get a better settlement.

xmas is realy going down the crapper just been told by travel insurance they
cant help me claim for flights back home will have to try and claim it back from easy jet so we are set to loose out big time and all the xmas funds are gone on flights but on the bright side we are all healthy just not festive

I'm pretty sure you can claim it back from your card, give your bank a call they should be able to clarify.

My sister got caught out as well. Supposed to have flown over on the Friday for the weekend arriving in the evening but Easy jet cancelled her flight despite other airlines operating out of LGW

She's got to claim for a full refund as they won't refund her the difference if she re-books onto a cheaper flight

we get full refund for the flights to funchal but i.m out for guernsey gatwick by over 600 quid trying to claim that back from them to

xmas has just got even worse for me just got in from intensive care unit where my nephew is fighting for his life with suspected virus on the brain they are flying him to southamton in the morning with his mum and

just got in from hospital he is on the way to southampton with a specialist team and his mum and dad right now so all can do is hope a pray

just had update from southamton poor little guy has Meningitis but he is off life support and he is being moved from icu to a ward today first thing he asked mum was if the door is lucked because he dont want his xmas presents nicked

So glad to hear that it looks as though he's on the mend
If it's treated quickly it's not the nightmare it once was.
It's one Christmas none of you are going to forget though.
