Ash - any suggestions for what to do with it?

Started to feel that the white rope to be ugly AF.
Took it off and replaced with 1,6mm thick tarred hemp marline. Smells so good of tar and looks better, not so bright. And fits better in the hand, the rope not being so thick.

If you mean the staff it is 150cm.

And the new rope handle I placed a little bit higher. When my hand is at the middle of the ropehandle my elbow is in 90 degrees angle.
