I have one but not the measuring cord, if anyone has one, could they please let me know the distance from the loop to the mark on the cord?

Measuring cord

When fully extended, the measuring cord is as long as the central pole.
So if you have left your central pole at home, you can use any wooden
pole/stick instead. (Ask the landowner’s permission first). Use the
measuring cord to get the right length of pole. The exact measurements
for the different sizes are:

• Size 5: total length 2250 mm, marked at 2050 mm.
• Size 7: total length 2720 mm, marked at 2300 mm.
• Size 9: total length 3100 mm, marked at 2750 mm.
• Size 15: total length 3600 mm, marked at 3000 mm.

In the past when I've forgotten the cord, I've just used the central post instead. It's not as handy but it does work.
