There's a .177 mk1 Venomed version for sale on Airgunforum just now - lovely rifle. Short-stroked, Venom sound moderator. No association with the seller BTW

looks sweet but heard triggers are not as good as the Air arms & negative reviews about power consistency

Air Arms is still going so you'll get better after market support than you would with Theoben who went bust recently.

I've always wanted a TX200HC - but can't really justify the cost as I hardly use my SE90...

No, never any problems with consistency at all. And it's had a custom trigger fitted.
You'll find negative reviews about just about anything if you are just using google as your main means of research....
