Hi im new to tarps & forums . im looking for a tarp made of canvas as it canvas does not go on fire (singes away) this is fact & my reason . Can any one guide me to where i can find such a tarp that is reasonable cheap , water proof with strong seems 10 x 12 ft also DPM or Green . any guides to hwere i can purchase is much appreciated also can i have a little feed back left after what you think about the weight of canvas - do you think itl be very heavy ? as iv got a two man tent & its just to heavy to haul around on trecks.

Canvas ones are a bit heavy.
Better off with a normal polyester if you've to carry them any distance.
If cooking under a tarp then the fire should be kept small and if the wood type is available,should be spark free.
Haven't looked at prices for a while,so I'll let someone else mention costs.
There are plenty dealers that may have a discount for buck members,check eBay too.

Benn converted The true north tarp looks excellent which i see can be purchased from perth & very reasonable for the quality i might add !
