A welsh adventure

Driving in to the woods was dodgy

The walk in was tough and cold well below freezing

We found a good sheltered spot though

Set up camp with new tarps and hammocks thanks to magickelly (will we freeze, are we mad)

Where about to find out, no going back,

Time to get some food inside our bellies

Up the fire size to get warm before bed

The walk back to the cars in the morning was fresh to say the least.

Safe at last,

Then the 5 and a half hour drive home.
What a brill way to spend a weekend,

We were camped in a forrest at the northern end of the Cambrian Mountains.
Cheers to magickelly for the tarps and hammocks, they worked a treat,
Here's another photie of peds8045 looking ever so comfy. It was freezing cold, nice once in the bags though.
