3 Season sleeping bag suggestions

I have an army winter bag for winter & spring and am now looking for a 3 season bag.

Would ideally like something that packs small - the arctic bag is a monster and it would be nice to take a smaller rucksack.

Any suggestions? I've had a look at Snugpak Softie and Nanock Endurance 0 but don't know how small it compresses to.

Have you had a look at the alpkit bags?

Nanock -10 or the 0 It packs about a third larger than the issue desert bag .

think mines the snugpack merlin 3 not too expensive and packs down very small has been great for me but when it gets cooler i do have to wear a layer inside it
