Thanks for the comments folks, I don't have the time for a tutorial at the moment but I will try and put something together soon.
It was a bit of fun really, more of a survival improvisation project than Bushcraft. It doesn't handle as well as a nice Old Town obviously,
but when you're out in the wilds, it is the kind of project that helps to keep the old head sharp!
It only takes 3 hours to make and then provides a means of transportation and a fishing platform (for creel, net or line).
It can be stabilised by rigging up a side float and on occasion I've even added a sail. When you are finished with it the hazel goes back
to nature and the tarp into your kit bag.
Magikelly, that's a great idea - could you organise a group buy on SOTP forum? If it sells well, you and my mate Davy Jones can split the profits.
