    EDC Pens?

I love my machine era classic as well. Fits in a little slot on my zip wallet, unbreakable and feels lovely to write with. It seems they stock is hard to come by at the moment for a lot of there stuff because they are busy machining new stuff.

Chamaenerion angustifolium - Fireweed - Any use?

I've eaten the young shoots as well as the pith. I've tried the roots after reading somewhere they are edable, honestly kne of the most disgusting things I've ever eaten.

Chamaenerion angustifolium - Fireweed - Any use?

I found this at points, I'm not totally sure but I think I found it Improved later in the year. I could be totally wrong because there are so many variables.

Swopping over to natural wool bedding.

I never tuck my blankets in and it works ok for me like that but absolutely duvet sounds like a good idea to save on energy.

Swopping over to natural wool bedding.

We use old wool blankets and wool pillows. I could t go back. I prefer multiple blankets to a duvet. You can adjust the temp better and each person can have there own set up. Old wool blankets are also really cheap on ebay etc.

From my experience micarta is just generally nicer but will change a bit over time.

Better fixed blade steels in the UK/EU these days?

Interestingly I sharpened my cruwear pm2 on the side of my stone house too see if it could be done. It was slightly more difficult than doing that with an older steel but worked fine.

Better fixed blade steels in the UK/EU these days?

I think it priorities in steel depends on what your using them for. Lots of people use knives for general everyday stuff which benefits from edge retention over toughness. For bushcraft I'd take cruwear over o1 or similar any day. Tough, good edge retention, easy to sharpen.

    Fireweed

I've eaten rosebay willowherb rhizomes but raw and cooked with out any apparent ill effects but I only had a small amount. The main issue was it tasting absolutely disgusting, not bitter or sour just a really disgusting flavour.

    Lion Steel

The one I'd love is the lionsteel barlow with the sheepfoot. Looks amazing but you can't seem to get it in the uk.

I'm glad I'm not the only person who likes noodles in the woods. They are great for putting foraged greens in as well. I'll try this brand if I see them.
