Also if it does start raining as soon as your out, or its been raining and the trees are still wet; organise shelter over your fire starting area, even if it's only a strung up coat, before you start. There's nothing worse than a big fat water droplet in the middle of your nice newly lit fire...

I have no first aid training, but would love to get some. The stumbling blocks I always come accross are finance, and knowing where to go for good training. Can anyone help??? I think first aid should be compulsory in all schools and colleges. Louise.
