magwintercovermed.jpgBushcraft magazine is dedicated to life in the outdoors and obtaining all you can from it. Bushcraft is the art of confidence in the outdoors obtained through the study of age old skills and wisdom, enabling you to make the best use of modern technology without becoming dependant upon it for your enjoyment of the natural world.

Bushcraft is a quarterly, A5-sized magazine that delivers news, articles, how to information, reviews and much more, all in a highly digestible format. The magazine is glossy and colourful but the delivery is always down-to-earth and extremely readable. The magazine is new and fresh, leading to its great appeal and popularity with everyone interested in the great outdoors.

Bushcraft was launched early in 2006 its unique A5 size is so compact that you can always take it with you, yet it is crammed with more content between its covers than magazines several times its size, this is accomplished through the eradication of waffle and ‘filler material’ and a dedication to making every page deliver as much information as practically conceivable. The idea of the magazine started many years earlier in 2002 (then called ‘Bushman UK’ before the now hugely popular Bushcraft UK website was born) it was however set aside after a couple of issues in order to keep up with demand forissue5small.jpg the website. The hope was to get the website developed in order to keep up with demand and then get the magazine back on track, well that's taken over three years but at last it's here, bigger, better and very much more refined, full gloss high quality paper is so much better than black and white on copy paper as Bushman UK was originally back in 2002!

Things have come a long way and over the coming months and years the magazine will grow and evolve. The input from you the reader, is hugely valuable in making it a great magazine and we welcome feedback so that we can keep the tweaking and refining process ongoing. The Bushcraft UK website and Bushcraft the Magazine will complement each other in a very real way, so that there's more information, knowledge and skills readily available to all.

This magazine is written for you, enjoy it.
