A tip I found quite by accident is to put some in a small container in the freezer, and if it is concentrated enough it doesn't freeze solid butgoes like a slush puppy which you can drizzle over desserts as a dressing. I normally have it over vanilla ice cream and it's gorgeous.
My wife is Bosnian and has another recipe from her country. I will trace it and add it to the article! we have had great fun collecting tons of Elder flower as a result! Also I am told that wine made from Elder is RED with the flower and WHITE with the berry, any one know if this is true?
