Start off by cutting some disks of wood. I used discs with a 7cm diamiter.
On one of the discs draw a border about 1cm in from the edge with a pencil. Then drill a large whole in the centre and remove all the wood up to the border line with a small chisel.
Finish off the discs by sanding them
Now crack open your kebab skiewers packet and find a drill peice which is the same diamiter as one of your Skiewers.
