I am writing this form mongolia, while I was up in lake bikal I noticed that alot of people still live in wooden huts and with basic luxurys.
Its an ideal bushcraft location, its absolutely full of silver birch and pines, the water of lake bikal can be drunk safely with or without boiling, but there way of life is quickly dieing, there villaes are becoming very industrial and another of our last great wildernessess is being turned over to agriculture :(
