This Saturday I'm planning on going into the woods and practicing some of the bushcraft skills I have learnt and some which I want to try out for the first time. The plan is to get up early Saturday and head west to the local woods I know, its about 10 minutes from where I live so it very convenient. I am only going out for the morning so wont take too much probably a 35 litre bag will do me, I am planning on practicing lighting a fire with birch bark and a fire steel, lookingabout for some cramp ball fungus (king Alfred's cake) on fallen ash trees and may try some cordage making with stinging nettles. I my also try some nettle tea being as I'm going to light a fire and have some fresh nettle leaves about.

I am planning on taking a camera with me so hopfully some pictures will be taken so that I can share the experience with you.
