Two day trip to local woodland by ultimate@alpine

With kit packed we were off on the 3hr walk it took to get there. Me and my brother as kids used to go every weekend to camp.

we found our spot and started to collect fire wood, kindling and tinder in the form of birch bark shredings. back to camp we put up the tarps and i put up my hammock whilst my brother made a bed of furn branches.

Then came the fire split logs down then  birch bark layer for the shreded birch bark tinder. One strike on my fire stick and fire was lit, on went kindling then split logs and the fire was well on its way we put on a billy of water and another for food.

while we wait for dinner we went to fetch more fire wood to keep the fire going all night, then brews up not long after so was dinner.

then about 10:30 we settled down to bed/hammock we wasnt bothered by any passers by in the morning unlike when we were younger we were told to clear off all the time.
