Just a couple of photos showing the difference between the 2006 hammock and the new 2008 version from Sandbags group buy.

The main differences are the mossie net is now finer (a lot finer) to keep out midges, there are new less stretchy tapes, you get a couple of bits of elastic instead of some 4mm cord and you also get 2 zips so you don't have to reach all the way over your head to unzip the net. Still no velcro to keep your sleep mat in place though but I suppose it';s realtively easy to do this yourself.

All in all pretty pleased, I never had trouble with midgies with the older version but they have no chance with the new one it's really tightly woven.
