Hello folks,

This is my first ever blog and a newcomer to bushcraft.  Oh, i do the normal camping thing and have done for many years but watching "you know who" on tv made me want to have a go.  To date i have not done the deed ( it's hard to take my 3 and half year old son into the woods) but i have took him camping this year and last (and he loved it), so there's another one to add to the ranks when he's old enough.

Working in a citycentre office all week is forgotten with a ramble in the woods over the weekend and as the Autumn is my favorite season what could be better !!

 One final thought before i go, went to see Ray Mears at the Town Hall in Birmingham a few weeks ago, brilliant.  Met him after for the book signing, soft hands !!
