Went to Hinton Ampner today and had a great wander round the gardens. Saw some stunning trees but also these Damsel Fly pair mating and laying eggs

Great photo BR. I was trying to track a dragonfly the other day with the camera but it was just too quick

Butrerflys do that to me - I've got a few nice shots but seen loads that just wouldn't "settle"
I guess that makes it more satisfying when you get a good one. I still pursue a really good frame filling shot of a buzzard on a thermal. Not got it yet though
