Oh well, missed a few days there, been doing the family thing and finding lots of excuses not to report in.

As I get ever closer to the inevitable day of my redundancy, and for now anyway, things are actually looking a little brighter than a few weeks ago. Our 4x4 is awaiting spares to get it back on the road - and a little financial assistance from the dealer it came from will be a bonus. I've also been shortlisted for a job that is only a half hour drive from the house, but it remainsto be seen if I get through to an actual offer of the job or not. We finally managed a family trip to the coast yesterday, well nearly. Eldest daughter felt the draw of retal therapy and so spent the day shopping. We had a few hours at Borth beach near Aberystwyth and I don't know how but I ended the day with a sunburnt chest, not head as is usual and I kept a shirt on all day - ah well, live and learn.
