More stuff to keep the natives happy. by Ogri the trog

I've been thinking and asking some questions about putting up my own web-page. We've had some visitors over the past few days, amongst whom was a young ladknowledgeable in these matters but I'm still not convinced I know enough to take the next step. Seems like you have to pay different people for either .com or co.uk adresses then pay someone else to keep the words on the screen. Something like Blogspot was mentioned, but again I'm happier hitting things with heavy impliments.

The vehicle that broke down last week is vieing for space with the local garage who have said that they'll try to get a new clutch fitted by friday - call them that morning for their progress. So the weekend might, once again be fraught with activity trying to arrange transport for either me, or the good lady to get to work/home/ kids to school etc etc etc.

How about trying this out.

You can use this blog as your own web page :-)

Just to try it out, I've created a web address for you, so you don't need to pay for a different domain or worry about anyone hosting it for you. You just need to keep you blog updated - add pictures etc., just like if you use a service like Blogspot.

Your web address is: http://ogrithetrog.bushcraftuk.com

This isn't an official BCUK service, but we might implement it for full members if people are interested.

Let us know what you think....

Cheers
Dave
