Had a wander through the woods today - thoroughly nice. They are felling up there right now so I headed in a differnt direction and came across a couple of fallen birch trees.

 Too good an opportunity to miss so I cut some sections to make a dipper. Warm work mind you (as the photo above shows)

Pignuts abounded - going back for a feed later in the week

 Spotted a moth having a kip under a flower

The blue damsels are back - they always remind me of the high chalk

Bushbaby got this shot whilst I was messing with bark! Not sure who was watching who though!

Tell you what - theres a lot to be said for this sabbatical lark on a Tuesday!
