| Another step along the learning curve by Ogri the trog | ||
Right, so this must be it then. I can't promise to make entries daily, or even regularly - but its probably about time I explored another avenue to see what goes on.
My Bushcrafting takes place in fits and starts, as theres a familly and a household to run, animals and land to maintain let alone the vehicles and whatever else makes my time precious.
Theres some bushy bits I'm comfortable with such as firemaking, knotwork, even a bit of forging and bladesmithing, but that inturn means that there is a skills gap of sheltercraft, forraging and such like, that I'd like to be able to learn about when time permits.
But back to the immediate future for the end of this piece, I'm comming up to my final few days of working before being made redundant. I have said for a while that even with no prospect of another job, I can see no downside to this event. I won't have to drive 450miles a week, to work for people whom I do not like, nor stay away from the family for days, even weeks at a time, I can burn the dreadful caravan that has been my temporary home for the past 5 years and I will never again work night-shifts unless it is with something I actually enjoy.
