A walk by the River Waveney, Sufflok by jojo

My wife and I went for a walk on the marshes and along the Waveney river yesterday. We stopped to brew some coffee. I used my newly made "candle" stove, using candle wax and corrugated cardboard for a wick. Worked quite well. The only down side being the amount of soot! We saw swans in flight, grebes and lots of little birds in the reeds.

In the afternoon, I made some charcloth:

Don't do what I did afterwards: leave the tin open when it was still hot and turn your back for 5minutes! Nothing much left... Had to do it again.

Today, I took a few pictures in the garden:

Blue flag flower?? Flowers by the pond

Small insect, no idea what it is Saw this little guy in the garden, anyone knows what he is?
