My ex mother-in-law was adamant that toast was healthier than plain bread... because when you toasted the bread you burnt the calories off

Many moons ago my wee gran walked into the local electical store and asked for a video oven ,the salesman looked a bit confused for a min and then the penny drop and took her to see the microwaves
