Thread: Blacksmithing: Poker and Rose

    Default Blacksmithing: Poker and Rose

I had access to a gas chip forge and I had to have a go at making something. So I made some simple pokers.

There are 3 pictured but in the end I made about 6 and gave them away to people I worked with. I use my one with my chimnea.

I would love to have more practice a blacksmithing and I might go on a course, time and funds allowing.
I also had a go making a steel rose after seeing a tutorial on youtube. I made one ages ago with my brother but this one I made by myself. Not sure if the photo does it credit but I'm very happy with it.

Lovely work. I'd love to have a go at smithing myself.

Very beautiful work, the furthest i ever got with my blacksmithing was S hook and a mini thors hammer. Mightily impressed with the rose!
