    Carsium vulgare i'd say, tricky to say though, it could be a Carduus too..................no idea about the moth that's sitting on it though

    very funny i almost choked on my coffee regards dave oh and i only see 5 spots per wing lol

    One of the spots is a double. That's a six-spot burnet moth, as mark says.

    5-spot is incredibly rare.
    Stupidity got us into this mess. Why can't it get us out?
