Brilliant, I've only ever found enough bilberries to fill an egg cup let alone a pie.
Until you've gone beyond the parameters, you don't know where they are
no problem also heard rowans make a nice jelly

Its really good with rich meat. Rowan vodka is great as well.

Yep, same as sloe gin.How do you make that then would like to try it? I have made flavoured vodkas with fruit before is it the same method equal quantitys by volume of fruit and sugar? Its really good with rich meat. Rowan vodka is great as well.

How much berrys do you use I normally have a mug full of fruit in a 70cl bottle with same of sugar.
I tend to half fill a bottle with fruit, pour in the sugar so it covers the fruit and then fill to the brim with vodka. I give the bottle a good shake every now and again, our current bottle is from 2006 and its great - unlike sloe gin it takes a couple of years to come good.

Ok thanks for that will give it a go.
