Default Hi from the Welsh Marches

    Hi Everyone,
just joined. I live in he Wye valley (beautiful spot), walk/hike whenever I can, enjoy wild camping (and sneak out whenever I can). Want to walk in Shropshire but have not yet got around to it after 2 years of living an hour from some of the best bits. I'm trying to hone my fire skills, and carrying as little as possible.

Looking fwd to meeting you all,
    Elen

PS - my digital orienteering skills got a workout :-) ... it took me a day to find the Intro section of the forum, any reason it's not right up front ???

Hi Elen, that would be the upper Wye valley then? Beautiful part of the world. I go there as much as I can.

Welcome. Please pull up a log around around the fire.

Ta muchley for the welcome. Don't know that I'd call 7 miles west of Hereford the "upper" Wye valley, I associate that with much closer to Plynlimmon :-)
