Thanks to you all for a great Moot, it was long but worth it.
Thank you as well to everyone that helped out and contributed, ran workshops, welcomed new faces and generally made the 2 weeks great

HEhehehehehehee, still gets a laugh that, even now.

Happy to say John didn't kidnap me and lock me in a celler with drawing pad and pencils, I need natural light, lots of it. I hung around until gone 3pm and had a shower and chatted with Tony and Shelley for a bit before heading North East to Leicestershire to meet up with Turbogirl. Had hoped to meet up with a coulple of others in that area too but alas it was not to be, mebbe nest time. Got my laundry done by turbogirl and shot her youngest son with a nerf gun too and got to meet here really cool hubby Trev' as well. Really nice family. Got back here to Kent on Monday evening, heading home to France on Thursday but taking some fantastic memories with me along the way.

Congrats to you Windy for winning the Betty drawing, hope you like it. As for the advertising poster, I'm sure a certain bearded person here would be more than willing to trade you something close to his heart for it. . I think in this case it's a seller's market .
Say hi to Tricia, Mayhem and Chaos for me, sorry I didn't see you leaving, glad you got home safely.

Hey Ruud, glad you got home safely too buddy.

Bye for now, got more funnies to read and catch up on.

Great to have met you, Tricia and the twins. Hope you don't let the F1 get too dull.

Just to say thanks to all for their hospitality on the moot, had a great time and hope to see you all next year. Learnt a lot, met lots of nice folk, and finally became a member on the forum after years of lurking. Perhaps four tarps was overkill, (living in the slum behind the woodpile)

Things to practice for next year.

Nice to have met you in the flesh windy and tricia, chaos and Mayhem, aka Jasmine and darah always on the look out to kick my behind, the two rascals, always cheeky and fun to be with, plenty of more sweet next year, and longstrider is more willing to put a nice edge on that sharp but not so dull F1, if its not sharp its just a piece of steel, take care gangs, I am more willing to but the bushcraft betty picture at a reduced price to what John fenna is offering you at the moment, and that biker is really rubbish at drawing any cartoon caricatures, useless imho. LOL, CHEERS the interceptor boy.

Hope to make a moot again eventually (but the last one i booked on two years ago my back went as i was laying out and packing my gear on the day of traveling down).

Health problems making it tricky to commit to time away like bushmoots (This kinda activity was essentially what i lived for). so essentially i am bored out of my mind most of the time.

hopefully next year i will be well enough

Hmmm you could be right Hans, but when you have a semi-housebroken Welshman staring over you decked out with about 4 different sharps and a evil glint in his eye it sorta compels you to do a flattering job on the cartoon version of him out of sheere self preservation. Not only that but I also went down to the archery range with him later to shoot off some arrows. I'm stupid but not that stupid.

I wonder who that could be. Surely you do not mean John Fenna.....a gentleman....well that would be true until he holds you at spear point eyeing up your gear for a sale. So yeh I can see why you were compelled.

Well Biker, you have one less sharp to worry about. Thanks again John
