Peacock feathers for fly tieing

Picked up a few pretty blue feathers yesterday & wondered whether anyone had a use for them? They're not the big "eye" tail feathers but for a small fly I'd have thought they'd be fine.

Swap for natural cordage or a GB SFA... (or WHY)?

I have nothing to contribute to this thread apart from a picture which might help indicate colour.

The bird in question is still alive, after I decided not to use him as target practice for my catapult. Was a close thing though
