Norwegian pack is for good weather, sabre for heavy loads and winter, unless i waterproof the canvas and get a larger waterproof cover!
I will be using it next week obviously!

I have upgraded from an M39 "moose bag" to one of these and I have yet to try it out in anger. I think it is the least military-looking piece of military kit.

I'm going to ask him to make canvas dividers like he has with his, or get some canvas off him so i can do it myself!
Gave Al 10m of webbing for him to make my straps yesterday!

    That was my thinking!
Also use a Karrimor sabre delta 35, most bushcraft packs are so army orientated!, thought this might make a change! Fingers crossed eh!

That looks the business Rockmankey mate.
Well you know I got one of these from Military Mart a while back, I paid the extra and went for the as new one like you, well when it came I thought, that looks blooming old, even the paint on the metal frame was knocked off in places, rusty buckles as well, this happened with the bed roll that I got from them also , supposed to be new, it was except for the blanket that had a cigarette burn hole and three missing buttons and looked well worn, now looking at your canvas rucksack I know I did not get what I expected.
Rant over, I have made your tree huggers and they will be with you on the next bimble, have a sketch of what you want done to your nice looking pack, then I'll decide what we can do, canvas is no problem at Hugh Towers.

I just bought one too, I seen one before and been tempted, went for a nylon one. Deffo got the look without having to be military. Hope I get on with it.
