    Default Bimble 12-07-2012

Our once a week bimble for the Three Amigo's was sent out short of one member this week (Our photographer, instructor/guide).
So i am sharing a few pictures this week instead of Kep.
Hope you enjoy, and thanks for looking!

Just a quick view of where we were heading. At this point of the day (about 9.30), the weather was overcast, but warm!

We headed of into the woods to set up our camp for the day and dug the hobo stove out for a brew

We also found a lovely mossy Field Maple which was covered in masses of Burls!

With camp set up, coffee in hand, and Apple Pie in stomach, and one very happy Bushcrafter, we decided to do some carving

The weather decided to change, and the usual British summer showed it's ugly face, quick tarp set up, and we carried on!

At about 4pm we decided it was time to head home before rush hour got too mad, so a wet, slippery, chalky walk back to the car!

On the way back we found some local artwork created by the wood fairies!

The Third Amigo was much missed on this trip, but i am sure next week all we be as it should, and raring to go!!

As I've sat in my office this week and watched all the rain and thunder pass by, I've still wished I could have been outside in the woods doing silly things with wood. Damn you mortgage, damn you!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's what I have to pay to live in a house I don't like whilst wanting to live in the woods. Which I don't have time to do cos I'm working so blooming hard
