    Glad your ok

Just a bit of a heads up, have you declared the alloy wheels on your insurance policy?

If you haven't then i have seen insurance companies refuse payment due to undeclared modifications (alloy wheels).
So if you still have the stock wheels and the tyres are good (they look very worn in the pics or is the camera angle?) then it might be worth swapping them before the insurance assessor sees them.

Had a mate write off his MX5 last week, he was very very lucky.
He's spent over £2000 this year on a turbo kit and tuning, he kept putting off new tyres in favour of more shiny bits, yet it was he cheapo "ditch finder" tyres that bit him.

£5000 worth of car written off for the sake of £200 worth of tyres.

Posting 19 describes the sordid events.

Seems an irate husband was in hot pursuit after Tank, intent on defending his wife's honour, on a unicycle, wielding a rolling pin, downhill. Tank got to the car and sped away in reverse gear with his trousers only half on, they got wrapped around the rear view mirror and he woke up to find himself on the roof in the ditch. The dents were from the rolling pin.

    Common enough scenario.

Good point, truth can be stranger than fiction sometimes, it'd be an irate wife chasing Betty down the street though.

Just really glad to read you're well. Sorry about the car though.

Cheer chap. I loved that car, it was a beast, engine and chasis was amazing. It was tatty but never let me down... apart from trying to eject me from the windscreen lol .

That would be a good pic lol.
